
In 1994 I was introduced to the world of home brewing. I’d
always been fond of out of the ordinary beers but homebrewing truly opened
my eyes to a whole new world of styles and flavors. In March of 1995 I brewed
my first batch of beer. After a year or so of brewing beer, my brewing partners,
Jason "Ian" Rosenfeld (owner of Naja’s Place and former Reverend
drummer), Casey Davis, and myself started entering brewing competitions. Several
years and awards later, I still find it a fun and rewarding hobby (are you
kidding, I get to drink the fruits of my labor). We’ve brewed everything
from ales to stouts, to porters to barleywines to meads.
